Poetic Truths

The changing state of an object is always unnoticeable until its life comes to an end. Please carefully observe and appreciate the food you are holding up now before consuming it the next second.

By inserting a ring into a piece of bread, juxtaposition between the two materials and a contrast to a conventional diamond ring are revealed. The piece of bread, like a diamond, is placed on a pedestal, yet this material is an opposition to eternity; it cannot last for a few seconds as you eat it in one bite. Does it gain your appreciation on food like when you look at a diamond?

A lonely fork ring is exposed once the bread is consumed. Would you hesitate to “feed” the ring with another new “diamond”?
